My Story
I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Professional Writing from Kennesaw State University with a Creative Writing major and a Technical Writing minor. I grew up in Roswell, Georgia and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. My passion for writing started in my early teens. I began writing poetry during a tumultuous time in my personal life and poetry was a way to work through my spiritual and relational turmoil, and describe the changes that I was undergoing. Those early poems became my first poetry book called Shine, the first entry in my poetry anthology called Seasons. My writing details the intimate highs and lows, doubts and fears, triumphs and victories, knowns and unknowns that we all go through in life. Drawing on my religious background, I also write about my faith. I am a Jewish believer in Jesus, known more formally as a Messianic Jew, which influences much of my writing but my writing is for Jew and non-Jew alike. I believe that Jesus (known during His time by His Hebrew name Yeshua) is the promised Jewish Messiah and Savior of the world. Additionally, I use my passion for writing in my career as a technical writer where I perform IT writing and support. My wife Su and I reside in in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia with our cat Katara and our dog Joy.
